Ceramic Button

Our Heavy-Duty Ceramic Button Clutch kits are ideally suited for extremely hard road use & competition use, where more grip is required to hold power in the most aggressive way possible. With an increase in clamp pressure as high as 110% above standard applications these kits are best when engagement feel is not the primary goal.

Depending on the application, 3, 4, 5 or 6 buttons will be attached to either a sprung or solid center disk (Note – a sprung center disk is always preferred, as it will protect the drive line. A solid center clutch plate is ideal for applications where the drive line can manage the aggressive transfer of power from the engine).

In most applications ceramic or carbotic friction material is used, offering outstanding performance with positive engagement.
